I love Spring.
It's my favorite season. I love seeing all the life and colors in nature appear again. We've been learning a lot about how to take care of our yard. It's been exciting to see the fruits of our labor…well, Gordon's labor. :) He's been the main gardener of the house. In fact, he's become a gardening geek, spending a lot of time reading up on gardening tips. I am proud of him and thankful for the work and care he's put into our yard.
First few blossoms of the season…Aren't they so pretty?
I love our rose bushes.
The flowers aren't the only things that have been growing. The kids have been blossoming too. Sure, we have our rough days and really really rough days :)
…but they are a JOY to be around.
I can't believe Myla is almost 3. She still loves to draw and paint.
She's become more expressive and talking in complete sentences.
She's LOVES trains and princesses.
And GoGo is still her best friend.
concentrating on her masterpiece…
It's really neat to watch Myla's drawings grow too. Just a few weeks ago, she was only drawing a bunch of lines. Now she's forming faces. How awesome!

And what has our little Chic been up to? Well, Charlotte is 3 months now!
She recently figured out how to flip on to her back. She has been waking up in the middle of the night from startling herself when she rolls over. She's the most joyful person in the house these days…laughing a lot, esp. when being tickled. She's also starting to look a bit more like her daddy. :)

Charlotte has been chatting more with Myla Jie Jie,
and Myla Jie Jie still smothers her.
Chatting and smothering occurs at least once every day.
"Don't scream Mei Mei. Be gentle," says the one who screams the loudest and is the least gentle in the family.
More smothering...
